LEAD Bristol! is a nine month leadership training program for business professionals. The program emphasizes two important components: Skill Development and Community Awareness. Leadership skills, such as communication, motivation and business ethics, are provided by guest professors and lecturers. By highlighting topics such as the arts, community mapping or healthcare, awareness of community issues is emphasized.
Participants are required to complete a small group community service (CSP) project in order to graduate. Carter was a member of a team that assisted the Bristol Train Station by developing a marketing plan to attract additional business for the Train Station.
LEAD Bristol! is a program of the Bristol Chamber of Commerce. This was the 29th class to graduate from the Program.
