The Board of Commissioners and staff of the Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority would like to congratulate John Austin, the new Police Chief of Bristol, Virginia! Today’s article in the Bristol Herald Courier calls him “a true hometown son.”
“In his various roles in the police department John has been an important partner with BRHA for many years. He has a strong personal connection with Bristol’s public housing program,” stated BRHA executive director, Dave Baldwin. “Chief Austin is a true inspiration to the children and adults who live in Bristol’s affordable housing communities.”
