BRHA had a Grand Opening event for its new Community Computer Lab on Wednesday, 4/23/2014.  Dave Baldwin, BRHA Executive Director/CEO, made the announcement at the event which included local residents, members of City Council, the BRHA Board of Commissioners, and staff.  “Access to a computer and the Internet has become a basic need of modern life,” Baldwin indicated.  “We want to make sure that residents of our housing developments and other members of the local community have that access.”  The Computer Lab is located in the Resident Services Building at 709 Clinton Avenue.  Currently the Computer Lab is open on Mondays from 1-3 pm and on Thursdays from 3-5 pm.  “We are diverting existing staff from their regular duties to man the lab right now, so hours are somewhat restricted.  But we will be monitoring usage and consulting with residents to adjust hours as we move forward, to offer the most availability at the hours needed.”  For more information call 276.821-62XX
