Spreading Good Cheer – BRHA Holiday Highlights

The Gift of an Orange

Oranges have long symbolized health and prosperity. In the U.S. receiving an orange in your Christmas stocking became a tradition during the Great Depression. Oranges were considered a luxury. They provide much-needed vitamin D and remind us of warmer days to come. The gift of an orange serves to show us how special we are.

At the BRHA this is our most cherished holiday tradition; started by now-retired Executive Director, Dave Baldwin. Lisa Porter, our current Executive Director continues this tradition to celebrate the BRHA team and to honor Mr. Baldwin.

Holly Bell Visits BRHA

The BRHA had a special guest from the North Pole during the month of December! During her visit, Holly toured the property, visited downtown Bristol, and enjoyed all of the holiday treats. She also brought a good bit of joy to staff and tenants alike.
