The Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority (BRHA) is proud to announce that we have been selected as recipients of HOME-ARP funding through the Northeast Tennessee/Virginia HOME Consortium.
Congress appropriated $5 billion in American Rescue Plan funds to be administered through the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) to address the need for homelessness assistance and supportive services. The City of Bristol, Tennessee was allocated $4,014,832 for use in the Northeast Tennessee/Virginia HOME Consortium footprint. The HOME-ARP grant is a one-time allocation to serve qualifying populations within the consortium’s area.
This generous funding will be used for much needed rental development, to expand supportive services, and to assist in non-profit capacity building; all aimed at improving the quality of life for our tenants and community. We will be partnering with People, Inc. for the provision of these services.
Thank you to the Northeast Tennessee/Virginia HOME Consortium for your support!
