Request for Qualifications


The Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority is requesting proposals from qualified Architectural and Engineering Firms to provide cost effective design solutions, including but not limited to capital planning, funding applications, development proposals and planning, the preparation of drawings, technical specifications and all Bid and Contract documents to include contract administration, inspection of materials and workmanship during construction, and certification that construction is performed in accordance with construction documents. Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority is soliciting proposals for Architectural and Engineering Services to award an Indefinite Quantity of Services Contract.
Evaluation and selection of the Architectural and Engineering Firm will be in accordance with the evaluation criteria specified in the RFQ. A pre-proposal meeting will be held on August 26, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. DST at the Housing Authority office located at 120 Hope Lane, Bristol, VA. All prospective proposers are urged to participate in the pre-proposal meeting. Non-attendance on the part of the proposer shall not relieve the proposer of any responsibility for adherence to any of the provisions of this RFQ.
Proposals are due September 23, 2021 by 4:00 P.M. DST. Proposals will be held in confidence and not released in any manner until after contract award.
A copy of the RFQ will be available electronically by written request to the offices of BRHA, 120 Hope Lane, Bristol, VA 24201, or by emailing Mr. Todd Musick at todd@brha.com, beginning August 16, 2021. Comments on specifications or other provisions in the RFQ are due no later than 4:00 P.M. DST on September 9, 2021.
Interested and qualified Firms that can successfully demonstrate their ability to perform the specified or indicated work are invited to submit proposals. Minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to respond.
