At the Virginia Department of Housing & Community Development’s (DHCD) annual Grants Management Workshop preceding the Virginia Governor’s Conference on Housing in November 2019, it was announced that the Little Ten Housing Authorities of Southwest Virginia has been accepted into the Acquire, Renovate, Sell (ARS) 2019 Round 2 Program.
The Little Ten is a non-profit organization comprised of the ten public housing authorities in far Southwest Virginia. The ARS effort will be led by Vice-President Scott Napier, Executive Director for the Lee County Redevelopment and Housing Authority and Past President Lisa Porter, Executive Director for the Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority.
BRHA looks forward to participating in the ARS Program and partnering with the City of Bristol, Virginia in their efforts. The ARS Program will be a valuable tool in providing increased opportunities for home ownership for those who qualify.
