Our “Valentine Party” on February 14, 2019, hosted by BRHA Resident Services staff, was a great success! We had a positive turnout with 17 in attendance. Everyone danced and played cupid cups. We also had heart healthy refreshments. Tickets were earned for door prize drawings by dancing, or visiting one of our vendors. Residents were also asked to complete a survey on upcoming activities.
The Washington County Health Department was on hand to do blood pressure checks and the Family Nutrition Program Assistant from the Virginia Cooperative Extension office shared information on nutrition.
