SEMAP
The Section Eight Management Assessment Program (SEMAP) is used by HUD to evaluate an agency’s operation of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program (also called, “Section 8”). HUD monitors an agency’s implementation of the waiting list, payment standards, reasonable rent, annual re-exams, utility allowances and other program components.
