The Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority (BRHA) announces that on October 18, 2024, the PHA shall make available for public review a draft copy of components if its Five-Year and Annual Agency Plan per the guidelines of 24 CFR 903, a requirement of the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1988 and its Moving to Work (MTW) Supplement. A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Housing Authority administrative offices located at 120 Hope Lane, Bristol, VA 24201. At this time, the Authority will receive and consider any and all comments prior to finalization of the Plan and submission to HUD on or before January 17, 2025.
Anyone wishing to make comments may attend this hearing. Written comments are also permitted and may be made to the attention of the Executive Director/CEO at lisa@brha.com or mailed to the address noted in the above paragraph for the public hearing. The documents will be available Monday though Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the PHA office located at 120 Hope Lane, Bristol, VA 24201 for a period of no less than 45 days.
