From September 26th to September 28th, Hurricane Helene devastated communities across Southwest Virginia, especially in areas like Damascus and Taylor’s Valley. Families have been displaced, and many are without basic supplies, electricity, and clean water.
United Way of Southwest Virginia (UWSWVA) has initiated the 2024 SWVA Regional Disaster Relief Fund and will seed the first $25,000. All proceeds will directly support relief and recovery programs.
