Virginia Housing aims to help Virginians attain quality, affordable housing. In response to the affordable housing crisis, and to reach rural Virginians, Virginia Housing developed the Mobile Mortgage Office. The Mobile Mortgage Office brings home loans and grants to homebuyers in rural areas of Virginia where there is a lack of Virginia Housing participating lenders.
Sam Hanks, Mobile Mortgage Officer serves Lee, Scott, Wise, Russell, Washington, Dickson, Tazewell, Bland, and Buchanan County. Sam provides information on Virginia Housing first mortgage loan products, Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance grants and free homebuyer education classes.
