SPOOKY SEASON WITH THE BRHA KIDS CLUB

October was a big month for the BRHA Kids Club. Check out three of our most exciting activities with all little smiling faces! We want to thank Fender’s Farm, the staff at Creation Kingdom and all the organizations that set up at our Trunk or Treat! Each of you made these events possible!

United Way, Andrea Birchfield

Healing Hands, Brea Burke

Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Katie Nelson

BRHA Staff, Community Health Workers, Southwest Virginia Legal Aid, Boys and Girls Club, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Healing Hands, United Way of Bristol, Operation Hope, Molina Health, Ballad Safe Kids, Imagination Library, Bristol Sheriff’s Office, Domino’s and the Circuit Court Office all participated in our largest Trunk or Treat event! Around 200 kids attended to receive candy and meet all the fun characters.

Boo at the Zoo at Creation Kingdom did not disappoint! The kids took a hayride to the zoo, saw tons of animals and got to trick or treat with zoo staff and volunteers.

What a perfect day to be at the farm! The weather for our Fender’s Farm trip was wonderful and the kids all enjoyed being a “farmer for a day”! They harvested corn, picked and decorated a pumpkin, and fed the animals.
