We were so excited to send some of our amazing team out to participate in the Celebrity Bagging Event in support of United Way of Bristol TN/VA! Celebrity Bagging is an annual fundraising event hosted by Food City on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. During Celebrity Bagging, volunteer local “celebrities” bag groceries for a short length of time at participating Food City locations across the region and collect tips to benefit United Way and the many agencies/programs that they support. Staff members participating this year were: Lisa Porter, Executive Director/CEO; Camilia McNew, Executive Assistant; Amy Thompson, Tax Credit Manager; Victoria Morenings, Housing Specialist; and Henry Stump, Maintenance Mechanic. We appreciate all our staff volunteers for being part of this special event.
