The Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority will accept sealed BIDS for Unit Turn Around (UTA) / Painting & Cleaning Services, as needed, for all developments of BRHA, located in Bristol, VA. A pre-bid conference will be held on September 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Housing Authority office located at 120 Hope Lane (formerly 809 Edmond Street), Bristol, Va. All prospective bidders are urged to attend. Non-attendance on the part of the bidder shall not relieve the bidder of any responsibility for adherence to any of the provisions of this IFB. Bids are due no later than 3:00 p.m. local prevailing time, on September 29, 2022, at Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority, 120 Hope Lane, Bristol, VA 24201 and then publicly opened and read aloud. The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following location: Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority, 120 Hope Lane, Bristol, Virginia. Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained at the office of Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority’s Operations & Development Department, beginning September 5, 2022. Submit comments on specifications or other provisions in this Invitation to Bid in writing by 4:00 p.m., September 22, 2022, to Todd Musick at Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority, 120 Hope Lane, Bristol, VA 24201, email: todd@brha.com, or by fax (276) 642-2009. Sender is responsible for confirming the email was received by BRHA. During the procurement process, any comments, questions or inquiries from bidder shall be made by one contact person within bidder’s organization to avoid duplicate communications. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local governments licensing, certifications and permit requirements as they apply to this work. Compliance with the provisions of the Equal Employment Opportunity and with the Davis-Bacon wage decision is required on this project.
