Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority (BRHA) is proud to announce that it has once again been selected for funding of its Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Program by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). BRHA’s FSS Program is known as the “Find A Way” Program because it helps participants to find a way to achieve goals that lead to economic self-sufficiency and allows for them to grow an escrow account based on increases in earned income. Several participants have been able to use this account as a down payment toward homeownership. We are happy to be able to continue to offer these services in 2022! BRHA Commissioner Denise Franklin (featured below) is a previous FSS participant and a reflection of what can be accomplished through “Find A Way.”
