We are excited to share that last month, Lynn Pannell, Resident Services Manager, spoke at The Southeast Regional Council of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (SERC-NAHRO) Fall 2021 Workshop. Lynn highlighted the resident programs that we have here at BRHA and shared ideas that have proven to be effective. COVID has increased the needs that many of our residents have. This workshop gave participants the opportunity to share resources and ideas that will help to meet the needs of residents who may be struggling even more because of COVID. They also discussed how to motivate and encourage residents to participate in available programs. The Bristol Coalition has been valuable to our programs here at BRHA. The various agencies that make up the Coalition provide vital services to those we serve. The workshop focused on coalition building and the affect this can have not only on our residents but also on the community. We are proud to have one of our team members learning from and teaching other organizations!
