BRHA Holds Reception To Commemorate Bonham Circle Demolition

“The Rain Can’t Stop Bristol!!”

The Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority hosted a ceremony on December 20, 2018 to commemorate the final demolition phase of four remaining buildings at the Bonham Circle property.

These buildings were constructed in the 1950s and updated in the 1990s. They have now aged to the point where it is a more viable and cost-effective option to have them removed so that we can repurpose this area for our residential community. Over the next few weeks and months, this area will be transformed into a green space, and in the future may be developed for other housing purposes.

WJHL NewsChannel 11 provided coverage of the event – video and accompanying article can be found here.  The Bristol Herald Courier was also on-hand to provide some media coverage as we commemorated the beginning physical demolition of the remaining buildings at Bonham Circle. The full article may be found here.
