Bristol Redevelopment & Housing Authority

The Board of Commissioners and the staff of the Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority would like to congratulate Catherine Brillhart who was today named mayor of the City of Bristol, Virginia.  “Catherine has been the City Council Liaison to the BRHA Board during her tenure on Council and has been an active advocate for housing and neighborhood issues,” said Dave Baldwin, BRHA executive director. “She has been engaged with the commissioners at our board meetings and has strengthened our connections with the City.” TriCities.com reports that “she becomes the city’s first female mayor…” Recently Ms. Brillhart attended BRHA’s celebration for graduating seniors and brought congratulations to the students from the City of Bristol.  Scott Otis, Chairman of the BRHA Board added, “Our sincere congratulations to Mayor Brillhart; we look forward to continuing our work with her.”
