Virginia's Second Oldest
Redevelopment and Housing Authority
Founded in 1938, BRHA is Virginia's second oldest redevelopment and housing authority. BRHA is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners which is appointed by the mayor of the City of Bristol Virginia. In addition to creating governing policy, The Board outlines BRHA's long-term goals. The Board also employs an Executive Director to manage daily operations.
