Larry Neese

Chairman

Larry Neese was appointed Chairman of the Bristol Development and Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, effective July 1, 2006.  This is his second four-year term on the board and his first in the role of Chairman. A 33-year veteran of the banking industry, Neese serves small business clients in Abingdon, VA., and most of Washington County, VA.

“Larry brings an incredible understanding of organizational finance to the chairmanship that is beneficial to the BRHA.” said Executive Director Dave Baldwin.  “He has become very familiar with our agency during the past three years, and has helped position our agency to reduce our dependency of federal funding as we broaden the services we provide to the community.”

Kenneth Kistner

Vice-Chairman

Kenneth Kistner was appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, effective July 1, 2006.  This is Mr. Kistner’s second four-year term. 
Kistner brings to the Authority a “wealth of experience and expertise in the construction field,” having retired from 55 years in this field.

Jerry Chorosevic

Jerry Chorosevic was appointed to the Board of Commissioners in 2003; he served as the Chairman of the Board for 4 years, 2003-2006.
Mr. Chorosevic has been an asset to the Board because of his many years in a business background. 

Doug Fleenor

Doug Fleenor is a life long resident of Bristol who has practiced law in Bristol for the past 15 years.  He is a graduate from King College and the University of Tennessee Law School.

Karen Hamilton

Welcome to Karen Hamilton-Resident Commissioner

Karen Hamilton is a resident of Jones Manor and has served as President of the Resident Association.  She is currently serving on the Resident Advisory Board for the BRHA.  Karen is currently enrolled in a medical assistant’s program and will graduate in June 2008.
