Gary Poulton

Chairman

Mr. Poulton is currently a History Professor at Virginia Intermont College.  Mr. Poulton served as a past president of the college and is a resident of Bristol, VA. Gary Poulton. He is the newly elected Chairman for the term July 1, 2011 through June 30th 2012.

Jerry Chorosevic

Vice-Chairman

Jerry Chorosevic was appointed to the Board of Commissioners in 2003; he served as the Chairman of the Board for 4 years, 2003-2006.
Mr. Chorosevic has been an asset to the Board because of his many years in a business background. 

Karen Hamilton

Karen Hamilton is a resident of Jones Manor and has served as past President of the Resident Association.  Karen is very active in resident events such as “Summerfest”.  Because Karen is a resident, she is aware of the concerns of residents, and can bring those concerns to the attention of BRHA Staff and Commissioners.

Larry Neese

Mr. Neese has been part of the Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority for the past years. He is a retired Business Services Officer from BB&T and is doing volunteer work with his church.   He brings an incredible understanding of organizational finance to the table that is beneficial to the BRHA.   He has become very familiar with our agency during the time he has served on the Board and has helped position our agency to reduce our dependency of federal funding as we broaden the services we provide to the community.”

Scott Otis

Scott Otis grew up in Bristol, VA and is a graduate of Virginia Tech. Scott's interests are in historic restoration and neighborhood revitalization. He is concentrating his efforts to the Virginia Hill Historic District in Bristol, VA. Scott has already restored one house in this neighborhood and is currently working on his second house. Scott was appointed to the Board in June 2011.
