The Virginia Association of Housing & Community Development Officials (VAHCDO) held its annual Legal and Policy Seminar on Thursday and Friday, November 29 – 30, 2018, at the Omni Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. Speakers included Ms. Angela Navarro, Deputy Secretary of Commerce and Trade, Ms. Christine E. Marra, Esq., Director – ACES (Advocates for Credit, Employment and Shelter, a Program of the Virginia Legal Aid Community), and Mr. Georgie Banna, Director of Policy and Program Development (NAHRO)
The VAHCDO Legal & Policy Seminar is a must for Housing Authority leaders, municipal community development officials, and attorneys involved with housing and community development issues. Lisa R. Porter, BRHA Executive Director/CEO, was in attendance.
