BRHA Awarded Capital Fund Grant

In February BRHA was awarded $455,150 through HUD’s Capital Fund Grant Program. The Capital Fund provides funds, annually, to Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) for the development, financing, and modernization of public housing developments and for management improvements. These 2016 funds will be used for modernization improvements at the so-called large-family Mosby site (at Moore St. And Oakview Ave.), and to support development of the Village at Oakview apartment complex (on the former Bonham Circle site – see more info).

THE BRISTOL REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY WILL PROVIDE SAFE, ATTRACTIVE, AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND HOUSING ASSISTANCE AND THE OPPORTUNITY FOR FAMILIES AND OTHERS IN NEED TO ACHIEVE A HIGHER STANDARD OF LIVING.
